Tips and Tricks for Using the Samsung Galaxy S23
If you’re lucky enough to have your hands on the new Samsung Galaxy S23, congratulations! You’ve got your hands on one of the most powerful smartphones on the planet. Here are some tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your new device.
1. Get to Know the Buttons
The Galaxy S23 has a few buttons that may be unfamiliar to you if you’re coming from another Android device. On the left side of the phone, you’ll find the volume rocker and the Bixby button. The Bixby button is Samsung’s virtual assistant and can be used to perform tasks like opening apps, taking photos, and more.
On the right side of the phone, you’ll find the power/lock button and the SIM tray. The SIM tray is where you’ll insert your SIM card and is used to activate the phone on a cellular network.
2. Take Advantage of the Edge Screen
One of the most unique features of the Galaxy S23 is the edge screen. The edge screen is a curved portion of the display that extends around the sides of the phone. You can use the edge screen to access shortcuts, view notifications, and more.
To access the edge screen, simply swipe in from the side of the display. You can then customize the edge screen to your liking by adding or removing shortcuts.
