Posted on 20th June 2023
Quick Notes is a new feature in iOS 14 that makes it easy to jot down notes and ideas on your iPhone. Here’s how to use Quick Notes.
1. Access Quick Notes from the Lock Screen
Quick Notes can be accessed from the Lock Screen by swiping left from the right edge of the screen. This will reveal the Quick Notes interface.
2. Create a New Note
To create a new note, tap the “+” button in the top-right corner of the Quick Notes interface.
3. Add Text to Your Note
Once you’ve created a new note, you can start adding text to it by tapping on the text field. You can also use the built-in keyboard to type out your note.
4. Add Images to Your Note
You can add images to your note by tapping on the “+” button in the top-left corner of the interface and selecting “Add Photo.”
5. Add Drawings to Your Note
You can add drawings to your note by tapping on the “+” button in the top-left corner of the interface and selecting “Add Drawing.”
6. Share Your Note
Once you’ve finished creating your note, you can share it with others by tapping on the “Share” button in the top-right corner of the interface.
In order to use Quick Notes on the iPhone 14, first open the Notes app. Then, tap the “+” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to create a new note. Next to the “Title” field, tap the “Quick Note” icon. This will bring up a new screen with a white background and black text.
Now, start typing your note. Quick Notes are designed to be short and to the point, so try to keep your note under 150 words. When you’re finished, tap “Done” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Your Quick Note will now be saved in the Notes app. To access it later, tap the “Quick Notes” icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. This will bring up a list of all of your Quick Notes. Tap on the one you want to view to open it.
Assuming you’ve already set up Quick Notes on your iPhone 14 (see the first section of this article for instructions), there are two ways to create a new Quick Note. The first way is to tap the Quick Note icon in the lower left corner of the screen, which looks like a pencil on a yellow notepad.
The second way to create a Quick Note is to tap and hold the Quick Note icon, then slide your finger up to the New Quick Note option.
Once you’ve created a new Quick Note, you’ll see a blank notepad with a blinking cursor. You can start typing your note right away.
To format your Quick Note, tap the Aa icon in the upper right corner of the screen. This will open a menu with various formatting options, including headings, lists, bold, italics, and more.
When you’re finished writing your Quick Note, tap the Done button in the upper right corner of the screen. Your Quick Note will be saved automatically.
To access your Quick Notes later, tap the Quick Note icon again. You’ll see a list of all the Quick Notes you’ve created, sorted by date. To view a Quick Note, just tap on it.
To delete a Quick Note, tap the Edit button in the upper right corner of the screen, then tap the Delete button next to the Quick Note you want to delete.
That’s all there is to using Quick Notes on your iPhone 14!
In addition to the new design, the iPhone 14 also features a new Quick Notes feature. This feature allows you to quickly create and save notes without having to open the Notes app. To use this feature, simply tap and hold the Quick Notes icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. This will bring up a new Quick Note window.
In the Quick Note window, you can enter your note and then tap the “Save” button. Your note will be saved in the Quick Notes section of the Notes app. You can access your Quick Notes by tapping the Quick Notes icon in the bottom left corner of the Notes app.
If you want to share your Quick Note with someone, you can tap the “Share” button in the Quick Note window. This will bring up the share sheet, which allows you to share your Quick Note via email, message, or social media.
In addition to the new Notes app features in iOS 14, the Quick Notes feature has also been updated. Quick Notes is a handy way to jot down a quick thought or idea without having to open the Notes app. Here’s how to use Quick Notes on your iPhone:
To access Quick Notes, simply tap and hold the Notes app icon on your Home screen. A pop-up menu will appear with the option to “Quick Note.” Tap this option to open Quick Notes.
You can also access Quick Notes from the Today View widget or by asking Siri to “create a quick note.”
Once in Quick Notes, you can start typing your note right away. To format your text, tap the “Aa” button in the top-right corner of the screen. This will open the formatting options for Quick Notes.
You can use the Quick Notes formatting options to change the font, add lists, insert images, and more. When you’re done, tap the “Done” button in the top-right corner of the screen.
Your Quick Note will be saved automatically, and you can access it later by opening the Quick Notes widget or the Notes app.
Quick Notes is a great way to quickly jot down a thought or idea without having to open the Notes app. With the new formatting options in iOS 14, you can even add lists, images, and more to your Quick Notes. Give Quick Notes a try the next time you need to jot something down quickly.
