Posted on 19th June 2023

Windows 11 comes with a new and improved version of Microsoft PowerPoint. PowerPoint is a presentation program that allows you to create slideshows with text, images, videos, and audio. You can also add animations and transitions to your slideshows to make them more interactive and engaging.

One of the new features in PowerPoint 11 is the ability to use master slides. Master slides are pre-designed slides that you can use as a starting point for your own slideshows. PowerPoint comes with a number of built-in master slides, or you can create your own.

To use a master slide, open PowerPoint and click on the “New Slide” button in the toolbar. Then, click on the “Master Slide” button in the drop-down menu.

This will open the “Master Slide” pane on the right side of the screen. Here, you’ll see a list of all the available master slides. To use a master slide, simply click on it and then click on the “Insert” button.

Once you’ve inserted a master slide, you can add your own content to it. To do this, click on the “Content” placeholder on the slide and then add your own text, images, videos, or audio.

You can also change the layout of the master slide by clicking on the “Layout” button in the “Master Slide” pane. This will allow you to change the number of columns, the background color, and the font.

Once you’ve added your content and made any changes to the layout, you can save your slide as a PowerPoint file or export it as a PDF. To do this, click on the “File” menu and then click on “Export.”

In the Export dialogue box, select “PDF” from the drop-down menu and then click on the “Export” button.

That’s all there is to using master slides in PowerPoint 11. Master slides are a great way to get started with your PowerPoint presentations, and they can help you create more professional-looking slideshows.

If you’re using Microsoft PowerPoint on Windows 11, you can take advantage of Master Slides to quickly create a consistent look for your presentation. Master Slides are like templates that you can apply to individual slides, and they can include elements like your company’s logo, contact information, or a consistent color scheme.

To use Master Slides, open the PowerPoint presentation you want to work on and click the “View” tab. Then, click “Master View” in the “Presentation Views” section.

In Master View, you’ll see three panes: the Slide Master pane, the Slide Sorter pane, and the Notes pane. The Slide Master pane is where you’ll create and edit your Master Slides. To add a new Master Slide, click the “Insert” tab and then click “New Slide” in the “Slides” section.

You can choose from a variety of slide layouts, or you can click ” Blank ” to create a custom layout. Once you’ve added a new Master Slide, you can add elements to it like your company’s logo or contact information.

To apply a Master Slide to a specific slide, select the slide in the Slide Sorter pane and then click the “Apply To Selected Slides” button in the “Slide Master” group.

You can also apply a Master Slide to all slides in your presentation by clicking the “Apply to All Slides” button.

When you’re finished working with Master Slides, click the “Close” button in the “Close” group.

When you want to add a slide to your presentation, you can either create it from scratch or use a template. If you choose to use a template, your slide will inherit the master slide’s formatting.

To change the master slide, go to the View tab and click on the Slide Master option. This will open the Slide Master view, where you can edit the master slide and all the layouts that are based on it.

To edit the master slide, simply click on it and make the changes you want. To edit a layout, click on the Layout button in the Slide Master view and make your changes.

Once you’re done, click on the Close button to go back to the normal view.
