How to Use Live Photos on the iPhone 14

As one of the newest features on the iPhone 14, Live Photos are a great way to add some extra personality and pizzazz to your photos. Here’s a quick guide on how to use them!

What are Live Photos?

Live Photos are short, 3-second videos that are automatically captured when you take a photo with your iPhone. To take a Live Photo, simply open the Camera app and tap on the Live Photo icon (it looks like a circle with three concentric rings). When you take your photo, it will automatically be turned into a Live Photo.

How to view Live Photos

Live Photos can be viewed on your iPhone, in the Photos app, or on iCloud.com. To view a Live Photo on your iPhone, simply tap and hold on the photo. The Live Photo will start playing. To view a Live Photo in the Photos app, select the photo and tap on the Share icon. From there, select Slideshow. To view a Live Photo on iCloud.com, select the photo and click on the play button in the bottom left corner.

How to share Live Photos

Live Photos can be shared via the Messages app, the Mail app, or by exporting them to your computer. To share a Live Photo via the Messages app, select the photo and tap on the Share icon. From there, select the Messages app. To share a Live Photo via the Mail app, select the photo and tap on the Share icon. From there, select the Mail app. To export a Live Photo to your computer, connect your iPhone to your computer and open the Photos app. Select the Live Photo you want to export and click on the Export icon in the bottom left corner.

How to edit Live Photos

Live Photos can be edited just like regular photos. To edit a Live Photo, open the Photos app and select the photo. Tap on the Edit icon in the bottom right corner. From there, you can crop, rotate, or add a filter to your Live Photo.

Live Photos are a great way to add some extra personality to your photos. With just a few taps, you can turn any photo into a fun, animated video. So go out and start taking some Live Photos!

Assuming you have an iPhone 14:

To use Live Photos, go to your Camera app and ensure that the Live Photo icon is highlighted yellow.

If it’s not, simply tap on it to enable the feature.

Once you’ve done that, simply take a photo like you normally would.

When you’ve taken your photo, you’ll know it’s a Live Photo if the icon at the bottom left of your screen is animating.

To view your Live Photo, simply tap and hold on the photo in your camera roll.

You can also edit Live Photos by going to the photo in your camera roll, tapping the edit icon, and then selecting the Live Photo icon.
