How to Use Live Caption on the Google Pixel 7a

Live Caption is a feature on the Google Pixel 7a that provides real-time captioning for any video or audio playing on your phone. This can be useful for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or for anyone who wants to follow along with a video without having to listen to the audio. Enabling Live Caption
Live Caption can be enabled from the Accessibility settings on your Google Pixel 7a. To get there, open the Settings app and select “Accessibility” from the list of options. Then, scroll down to the “Live Caption” setting and toggle it on. Once it’s enabled, you’ll see a new “Live Caption” icon in your notification bar.
Using Live Caption
To use Live Caption, simply play a video or audio file on your Google Pixel 7a. The Live Caption icon in your notification bar will light up to let you know that the feature is active. Tap on the icon to open the Live Caption interface, then tap on the “Start Live Caption” button to begin captioning the video. To stop Live Caption, tap on the “Stop Live Caption” button.
Customizing Live Caption
Live Caption has a few customization options that you can access from the Settings app. To get there, open the Settings app and select “Accessibility” from the list of options. Then, scroll down to the “Live Caption” setting and tap on it to open the Live Caption settings. Here, you can toggle on or off the option to show profanity in captions, and you can also choose whether to caption videos or audio files.
