How to Use Handoff and Universal Clipboard with Mac OS Mojave

If you own a Mac and an iPhone or iPad, you can take full advantage of all the new features that came with Mac OS Mojave. One of those features is called Handoff, and it lets you start a task on one device and finish it on another. For example, you can start writing an email on your iPhone and then finish it on your Mac. Or you can start browsing the web on your Mac and then pick up where you left off on your iPad. How to Use Handoff on Your Mac
To start using Handoff, you need to have your devices set up and connected. First, make sure that your Mac is running Mac OS Mojave and that your iPhone or iPad is running iOS 12 or later. Then, follow these steps:
- On your Mac, open System Preferences and click on General.
- Check the box for “Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices.”

How to Use Handoff with Other Apps

- On your Mac, open System Preferences and click on General.
- Check the box for “Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices.”
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap on General.
- Tap on Universal Clipboard and make sure that the switch is turned on.
Once you’ve done that, you can start copying and pasting content between your devices. Just copy something on your Mac and it will be automatically copied to your iPhone or iPad. How to Use Handoff and Universal Clipboard with Other Devices
If you have an Apple Watch, you can also use Handoff and Universal Clipboard with it. To use Handoff with your Apple Watch, just open the app that you want to use on your iPhone and start working on something.
