The iPhone 14 is a great phone, but you may want to change the look of some of your app icons. Here’s how to do it:

  1. First, find the app you want to customize the icon for. Tap and hold on the app icon until all of the icons start wiggling.
  2. Next, tap on the “X” that appears in the top left corner of the app icon. This will delete the app from your phone.
  3. Now, go to the App Store and find the app you want to customize the icon for. Tap on “Get” and then “Install.”
  4. Once the app is installed, go to your home screen and tap and hold on the app icon. Tap on “Edit Home Screen.”
  5. Now, you can tap on the app icon and choose the new icon that you want to use. You can also change the name of the app and the location of the icon on your home screen.

That’s all there is to it!

Assuming you have already jailbroken your iPhone 14, the process for customizing app icons is actually quite simple. You’ll need to use a jailbreak app called iFile, which is available for free from the Cydia app store.

Once you have iFile installed, launch it and navigate to the following directory:

/var/mobile/Containers/Bundle/Application/

Inside this directory, you should see a list of all the apps installed on your device. Find the app whose icon you want to customize, and tap on it.

Inside the app’s directory, you should see a file called ‘Info.plist’. Tap on this file to open it in iFile’s built-in text editor.

Scroll down to the bottom of the file, and you should see a section called ‘CFBundleIcons’. Tap on the ‘CFBundlePrimaryIcon’ key, and you should see a new screen with several options.

Tap on the ‘CFBundleIconFiles’ key, and you should see a list of all the icons used by the app. The first icon in the list is the app’s main icon, so tap on it and then tap the ‘pencil’ icon to edit it.

A new screen will appear with a preview of the icon. Tap on the ‘Apply’ button in the top-right corner, and the icon will be changed.

You can repeat this process for any other icons used by the app. When you’re finished, tap on the ‘Done’ button in the top-left corner to save your changes and exit iFile.

And that’s all there is to it! You can now enjoy custom app icons on your jailbroken iPhone 14.

You can also add additional features to your app icons, such as badges and glyphs. Badges are small icons that appear on an app icon to indicate that something has changed, such as a new message or an update. Glyphs are small images or icons that can be used to represent app features.

To add a badge or glyph to your app icon, go to the “Badges & Glyphs” section of the “Customize” tab and select the badge or glyph you want to add. You can then use the “Size” slider to adjust the size of the badge or glyph.

If you want to add a custom image to your app icon, go to the “Custom Image” section of the “Customize” tab. Here you can select an image from your photo library or take a new photo. Once you’ve selected an image, you can use the “Size” slider to adjust the size of the image.

You can also add a custom name to your app icon. To do this, go to the “Name” section of the “Customize” tab and enter a name for your app icon. The name you choose will appear beneath the app icon on your home screen.

Once you’ve customized your app icon, tap the “Done” button in the top right corner of the “Customize” tab. Your changes will be saved and you’ll see your new app icon on your home screen.

If you want to change the look of your home screen, one of the easiest ways is to customize your app icons. With the release of iOS 14, you can now change the icons for many of your favorite apps to something that better fits your style. In this article, we’ll show you how to customize app icons on your iPhone 14.

To change an app icon, you’ll need to create a new icon and then upload it to your device. You can create icons using any graphic design software, or you can use a web-based tool like Canva. Once you have your icon, you’ll need to use the Shortcuts app to upload it to your device.

Open the Shortcuts app and tap the + icon in the top-right corner. Tap Add Action and select the Scripting category. Select the Upload File action and tap the + icon next to the File parameter. Select Choose from Photos and choose your icon. Tap the + icon next to the Name parameter and enter a name for your icon. Tap the + icon in the top-right corner and select Done.

Your icon will now be available in the Shortcuts app. To use it, tap the + icon and select your icon. You can then tap the Share icon and select Copy to Clipboard. Finally, open the app that you want to change the icon for and paste your icon into the app’s settings.

You can also use the Shortcuts app to change the icons for built-in apps like the Phone or Messages app. To do this, you’ll need to find the app’s bundle identifier. This can be done by going to the Settings app, tapping on the app that you want to change, and tapping on the About page. The bundle identifier will be listed at the bottom of the page.

Once you have the bundle identifier, you can use the Shortcuts app to change the icon. Tap the + icon and select Add Action. Select the Scripting category and choose the Run Script over SSH action. Tap the + icon next to the Command parameter and enter the following command:

/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c “Set :CFBundleIconName ”

Replace with the name of your icon and with the bundle identifier of the app that you want to change. Tap the + icon in the top-right corner and select Done.

Your icon will now be available in the app that you changed. You can tap the Share icon and select Copy to Clipboard. Finally, open the app that you want to change the icon for and paste your icon into the app’s settings.
