Customizing Your Home Automation with TP-Link Kasa Scenes

If you’re looking for a little more customization and personalization with your home automation, TP-Link Kasa Scenes may be just what you need. Kasa Scenes allows you to create custom automation “scenes” that can be activated with a single button press. With Kasa Scenes, you can customize your automation to fit your unique lifestyle and needs.
Creating Custom Scenes
Creating a custom scene with TP-Link Kasa is easy. First, open the Kasa app and tap on the “Scenes” tab. Then, tap on the “Create Scene” button. You’ll be prompted to give your scene a name and an optional description.
Once you’ve given your scene a name, you can start adding devices. To add a device, simply tap on the “+” button and select the device you want to add. You can add as many devices as you want to a single scene.
After you’ve added all the devices you want to include in your scene, you can start customizing the settings for each device. For example, if you’re creating a “Good Morning” scene, you might want to turn on the lights, start the coffee maker, and turn on the TV.

There are two ways to activate a custom scene that you’ve created with TP-Link Kasa. The first way is to simply open the Kasa app and tap on the scene you want to activate. This will activate the scene and all of the devices included in it.
The second way to activate a scene is to use the Kasa Smart Home Skill for Amazon Alexa. With this skill, you can activate any of your custom scenes with your voice. Simply say “Alexa, turn on [scene name].” For example, if you created a scene called “Good Morning,” you would say “Alexa, turn on Good Morning.”

You can also activate scenes using voice commands with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. To do this, you’ll first need to install the TP-Link Smart Home Skill or Action.
Once you’ve done that, just say “Alexa, turn on Goodnight” or “Hey Google, turn on Goodnight”. Your Kasa devices will instantly change to the settings you’ve configured for that scene.
