How to Use Apple Pay on the iPhone 14

Adding a Credit or Debit Card to Apple Pay

To add a new card to Apple Pay:

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the plus sign in the upper right corner.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to add a new card.

If you’re using iOS 11 or later and you have a credit or debit card in Wallet that’s already set up for Apple Pay, you can add it to your iPhone without having to enter the card number or security code:

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.

  4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Using Apple Pay in Stores

To pay in stores with your iPhone, you need to:

  1. Make sure that iPhone Payments is turned on in Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
  2. Hold your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID or Face ID.

If you’re asked to enter a PIN, you’re probably paying with a different card. To pay with your iPhone, you need to:
