How to Use Apple Pay on the iPhone 14

Adding a Credit or Debit Card to Apple Pay
To add a new card to Apple Pay:
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
- Tap the plus sign in the upper right corner.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to add a new card.
If you’re using iOS 11 or later and you have a credit or debit card in Wallet that’s already set up for Apple Pay, you can add it to your iPhone without having to enter the card number or security code:
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
- Tap the plus sign in the upper right corner.
- Use your iPhone camera to scan your card.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
Using Apple Pay in Stores
To pay in stores with your iPhone, you need to:
- Make sure that iPhone Payments is turned on in Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
- Hold your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID or Face ID.
If you’re asked to enter a PIN, you’re probably paying with a different card. To pay with your iPhone, you need to:

Using Apple Pay in Apps
To pay in apps with your iPhone, you need to:
