Getting Started with Apple Music on the iPhone 14

Overview

Apple Music is a streaming service that offers access to millions of songs, albums, and music videos. It’s available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and PC. You can also listen to Apple Music on your Apple TV, HomePod, Sonos speakers, and other smart TVs and streaming devices.

If you have an iPhone 14, you can set up Apple Music and start listening to your favorite music, albums, artists, and playlists. Here’s how:

How to set up Apple Music on your iPhone 14

  1. Open the Music app on your iPhone 14.
  2. Tap For You at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap Create New Profile.
  4. Enter your name, birthday, gender, and location, then tap Next.
  5. Select the types of music that you like and tap Next.
  6. Tap Done.

How to find music on Apple Music

There are several ways to find music on Apple Music:

  • For You: This section recommends music based on your taste. It includes new releases, playlists, and albums that you might like, as well as music that you’ve added to your library.
  • Browse: This section helps you discover new music, including top charts, new music, and genres.

How to listen to music on Apple Music

How to cancel your Apple Music subscription

If you decide that you don’t want to continue your Apple Music subscription, you can cancel it at any time:

  1. Open the Music app on your iPhone 14.
  2. Tap For You at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. Tap View Apple ID.
  5. Enter your Apple ID password or fingerprint.
  6. Tap Subscriptions.
  7. Tap Apple Music.
  8. Tap Cancel Subscription.
  9. Tap Confirm.

In the My Music tab, you can view all of the music that you’ve purchased, ripped, or uploaded to your device. To add songs to your library, tap the + icon in the top left corner of the screen. From here, you can either search for the song or artist that you want to add, or browse by genre, artist, or album.

If you want to listen to a song or album offline, tap the + icon next to it and then tap the “Download” button.

If you want to see what’s popular on Apple Music, tap the “Browse” tab at the bottom of the screen. Here, you’ll find a variety of different curated playlists, as well as new and popular songs and albums.
