How to Use the iTunes App in Mac OS Mojave

The iTunes app is a media player, media library, online radio broadcaster, and mobile device management application developed by Apple Inc. It is used to play, download, and organize digital downloads of music and video on personal computers running the macOS and Microsoft Windows operating systems. The iTunes Store is also available on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

How to access the iTunes App in Mac OS Mojave

There are two ways to access the iTunes App in Mac OS Mojave. The first way is to click on the Finder icon in the Dock and then click on Applications in the sidebar. The second way is to click on the Launchpad icon in the Dock and then click on the iTunes icon. If you can’t find the iTunes icon, you can use the Search bar in Launchpad.

Media Library

The media library is where you can find all of your music, movies, and TV shows. You can also access the iTunes Store from the media library. To access the media library, click on the Library tab at the top of the iTunes window.

Music

The music section is where you can find all of your music. You can play your music, create playlists, and sync your music to your iPod, iPhone, or iPad. To access the music section, click on the Music tab at the top of the iTunes window.

Movies

The movies section is where you can find all of your movies. You can rent or buy movies, and sync your movies to your iPod, iPhone, or iPad. To access the movies section, click on the Movies tab at the top of the iTunes window.

TV Shows

The TV shows section is where you can find all of your TV shows. You can buy or rent TV shows, and sync your TV shows to your iPod, iPhone, or iPad. To access the TV shows section, click on the TV Shows tab at the top of the iTunes window.

How to Use the iTunes App

Playing Music

To play music, click on the Music tab at the top of the iTunes window. You will see a list of your songs. To play a song, click on the play button next to the song. You can also double-click on the song to play it. To pause or stop the song, click on the pause or stop button.

Creating a Playlist

To create a playlist, click on the Music tab at the top of the iTunes window. Then, click on the File menu and select New Playlist. Enter a name for your playlist and click the OK button. To add songs to your playlist, drag and drop the songs from your music library into the playlist.

Syncing Music to Your iPod, iPhone, or iPad

Renting or Buying Movies

To rent or buy movies, click on the Movies tab at the top of the iTunes window. You will see a list of movies. To rent or buy a movie, click on the rent or buy button next to the movie. You can also double-click on the movie to rent or buy it. To watch a rented movie, click on the Rent button. To watch a movie you purchased, click on the Watch button.
