How to Use the Guest Account Feature in Mac OS Mojave

The Guest account feature in MacOS Mojave is designed to allow temporary access to your Mac for people who don’t have an account on your computer. This can be useful if you have friends or family who want to use your computer for a short period of time. Setting up the Guest account

Before you can use the Guest account feature, you’ll need to enable it in the “Users & Groups” settings. To do this, open the “System Preferences” app and click on “Users & Groups”. Next, click on the “Lock” icon in the bottom-left corner of the window and enter your password to unlock the settings. Then, click on the “Guest User” checkbox to enable the Guest account.

Using the Guest account

Once the Guest account is enabled, you can start using it by clicking on the “Guest User” icon in the top-right corner of the login window. When you do this, you’ll be prompted to enter a name for the Guest account.
