4 Tips for Using FaceTime on the iPhone 14
FaceTime is a great way to keep in touch with friends and family, and with the iPhone 14, it’s easier than ever to use. Here are four tips to help you get the most out of FaceTime on your new iPhone.
1. Use the TrueDepth Camera for Better Video Calling
The TrueDepth camera on the iPhone 14 is great for FaceTime calls. It’s able to track your movements and keep you in focus, even if you move around during a call. This means that your video will look smoother and more natural, making it easier for the person you’re talking to to see your expressions.
2. Take Advantage of the Increased Screen Size
The iPhone 14 has a larger screen than previous models, which means that you can see more of the person you’re talking to during a FaceTime call. This can be especially useful if you’re talking to someone who is using a lot of hand gestures or if you want to show them something on your screen.
3. Use Portrait Mode for Better Selfies
The iPhone 14’s front-facing camera is capable of taking great selfies, and you can use the Portrait mode to take advantage of this. Portrait mode uses the TrueDepth camera to create a shallow depth of field, which can help to make your face stand out from the background.
4. Use Group FaceTime to Talk to Multiple People at Once
With Group FaceTime, you can talk to up to 32 people at the same time. This is great for family calls or for getting a group of friends together for a virtual hangout. You can also use Group FaceTime to share your screen with other people, which can be useful for showing them a presentation or a video.

If you want to use FaceTime on your iPhone 14, there are a few things you need to do first. First, you need to make sure that you have a compatible device. Currently, FaceTime is only compatible with the iPhone 4 or later, the fourth-generation iPod touch, and the iPad 2 or later. You also need to have an Internet connection; FaceTime will not work without one.
Once you have a compatible device and an Internet connection, you can start using FaceTime. To do this, open the FaceTime app and sign in with your Apple ID. Then, tap the “+” button in the top right corner of the screen to add a contact. You can either enter a phone number or an email address.
Once you’ve added a contact, tap on their name to start a FaceTime call. You can also tap the “Video” button in the bottom left corner of the screen to switch to a video call.
