Google’s Pixel 7a is a great phone for anyone looking for a budget-friendly option that doesn’t skimp on features. One of the best things about the Pixel 7a is its one-handed mode, which makes it easier to use the phone with one hand. Here’s how to enable and use one-handed mode on your Pixel 7a.

To enable one-handed mode, open the Settings app and go to the Display section. Scroll down to the One-handed mode section and toggle the feature on.

Once one-handed mode is enabled, you can trigger it by swiping down from the top of the screen with one hand. This will shrink the screen down to a more manageable size, making it easier to use with one hand.

You can also customize how one-handed mode works to better suit your needs. For example, you can choose to have the screen shrink down to the left or right side of the screen, depending on which hand you’re using.

You can also adjust the size of the shrunken screen to make it even smaller or larger. To do this, open the One-handed mode settings again and tap on the Screen size option. From here, you can adjust the size of the shrunken screen to your liking.

One-handed mode is a great feature that can make using your Pixel 7a much easier, especially if you have small hands. Be sure to take advantage of this feature to get the most out of your phone.

Assuming you’ve already turned on One-Handed Mode in the Google Pixel 7a’s Accessibility settings, there are a few different ways you can use it.

When you tap on the Home button, you’ll notice that the screen shrinks down and moves to the bottom corner of the display. This makes it so that you can easily reach the top of the screen with your thumb without having to stretch. To return to the normal screen size, just tap on the Home button again.

If you’re in an app that doesn’t support One-Handed Mode, you can still use it by long pressing on the Home button. This will bring up a menu at the bottom of the screen with a few different options. One of these is “One-Handed Mode.” Tapping on this will cause the screen to shrink down just like before. To exit One-Handed Mode, just long press on the Home button again and tap on the “Exit One-Handed Mode” button.

You can also use One-Handed Mode by swiping down from the top of the screen with one hand. This will bring down the notification shade, and at the bottom you’ll see a “One-Handed Mode” toggle. Tapping on this will turn on One-Handed Mode and cause the screen to shrink down. To exit One-Handed Mode, just tap on the toggle again.

If you find yourself in a situation where you can only use one hand to operate your phone, you can enable One-Handed Mode on the Google Pixel 7a. This mode moves the keyboard and other elements closer to the bottom of the screen so you can reach them with your thumb.

To enable One-Handed Mode, open the Settings app and go to System > Gestures > One-Handed Mode. Tap the toggle switch to turn on One-Handed Mode.

Once One-Handed Mode is enabled, you can activate it by swiping in from the left or right edge of the screen. This will cause the screen to shrink down and move to the center of the display. You can then use your thumb to type or navigate.

To exit One-Handed Mode, simply tap the exit button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. You can also swipe in from the edge of the screen again to return to the normal view.

One-Handed Mode can be a helpful way to use your phone when you only have one hand free. Give it a try the next time you find yourself in a situation where you can’t use both hands.
