Capturing a video of your screen

To capture a video of your screen, open the Settings app and select “System.”

Select the “Advanced” option and then select “Developer options.”

If you don’t see the “Developer options” option, you may need to enable it first. To do this, select the “About phone” option in the “System” settings and then tap the “Build number” option seven times. You should see a message that says “You are now a developer!”

Once you’ve enabled the “Developer options” setting, you should see it in the “System” settings. Select it and then scroll down to the “Debugging” section.

In the “Debugging” section, select the “Screen recording” option.

You should now see the “Screen recording” settings. Select the “Output” option and choose whether you want to record the screen in MP4 or GIF format.

You can also choose to record the audio from the microphone, which can be useful if you’re recording a video tutorial. To do this, select the “Audio source” option and choose “Microphone.”

Once you’ve configured the screen recording settings, select the “Start recording” option.

You should now see a countdown timer. Once the timer reaches zero, the recording will start. To stop the recording, simply swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notification shade and tap the “Stop recording” notification.

The Google Pixel 6a is a great phone for recording your screen. Here’s how to use the screen recorder:

To use the screen recorder on the Google Pixel 6a, open the Quick Settings panel and tap the Screen Record tile.
