How to Use Notes App on the iPhone 14

The iPhone 14 comes with a Notes app that makes it easy to jot down thoughts, create to-do lists, and more. Here’s how to get started using the Notes app on your iPhone 14.

1. Open the Notes App

To start using the Notes app, simply tap on the icon on your home screen. The Notes app icon is a yellow notepad with a pencil in the center. If you can’t find the Notes app, you can also search for it using the search bar at the top of your home screen.

2. Create a New Note

To create a new note, tap on the “Create New Note” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. A new note will appear with a blank page.

3. Start Taking Notes

Once you’ve created a new note, you can start taking notes by tapping on the blank page. The keyboard will appear so you can start typing. If you’d prefer to handwrite your notes, you can tap on the “Aa” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and then select the “Handwriting” option. Use your finger to write on the screen.

4. Add Images to Your Note

You can also add images to your notes by tapping on the “Camera” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This will open your camera so you can take a photo or select a photo from your camera roll to add to your note. You can also add sketches to your notes by tapping on the “Sketch” button.

5. Organize Your Notes

To keep your notes organized, you can create folders. To do this, tap on the “Folders” button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen and then tap on the “New Folder” button. Give your folder a name and then tap on the “Save” button.

You can also move notes into different folders. To do this, tap and hold on the note you want to move and then drag it to the desired folder. You can also delete notes by tapping and holding on the note and then tapping on the “Trash” button.

6. Share Your Notes

You can share your notes with others by tapping on the “Share” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This will bring up a share sheet with a variety of options for sharing your note, such as via email, Messages, or social media.

7. Use iCloud to Sync Your Notes

All of your notes are stored locally on your iPhone by default. However, you can also use iCloud to sync your notes across all of your devices. To do this, tap on the “Settings” button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen and then select the “iCloud” option. Turn on the “Notes” toggle switch and then tap on the “Done” button.

8. Lock Your Notes

You can lock individual notes with a passcode or Touch ID by tapping on the “Share” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and then selecting the “Lock Note” option. Enter a passcode or use Touch ID to lock the note.

9. Use the Notes App on Your Mac

If you have a Mac, you can also access your notes there. To do this, open the Notes app on your Mac and then click on the “iCloud” button in the sidebar. Select the “Notes” option and then click on the “Done” button. Your notes will now sync with your Mac.

10. Use the Notes App on Your iPad

If you have an iPad, you can also access your notes there. To do this, open the Notes app on your iPad and then tap on the “iCloud” button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Select the “Notes” option and then tap on the “Done” button. Your notes will now sync with your iPad.

One of the most convenient features of the Notes app is the ability to create checklists. This can be helpful when you need to keep track of a lot of different items, such as things to pack for a trip or groceries to buy. To create a checklist, tap the + button in the top-right corner of the screen and select “Checklist” from the menu that appears.

You can then start adding items to your checklist by tapping the empty space below the “Checklist” heading and typing in your first item. To add additional items, tap the return key on your keyboard after typing in each one. When you’re finished adding items, tap the Done button in the top-right corner of the screen.

If you need to mark an item as complete, tap the circle to the left of it. A checkmark will appear, indicating that the item has been checked off. To uncheck an item, tap the circle again.

You can also edit items in your checklist by tapping the pencil icon next to the item and making your changes. When you’re finished, tap the Done button.

To delete an item from your checklist, tap the trash can icon next to the item. A confirmation message will appear; tap “Delete” to confirm.

You can also delete an entire checklist by tapping the trash can icon in the top-right corner of the screen. A confirmation message will appear; tap “Delete” to confirm.

Assuming you have an iPhone 14, the first thing you need to do is open the Notes app.

Tap the “New Note” button in the upper right corner to create a new note.

You can type or dictate your note, and then tap “Done” in the upper right corner when you’re finished.

To add a photo or video to your note, tap the “Camera” button in the lower left corner.

You can also tap the “Share” button in the upper right corner to share your note with someone else.

You can find your notes by tapping the “Notes” button in the lower left corner.

To delete a note, tap the “Trash” button in the upper right corner.
