Posted on 20th June 2023

In this article, we’ll discuss how to implement Windows Server Backup in Server 2022. Windows Server Backup is a feature that allows you to create backups of your server data. You can use it to back up data to a local drive, a network drive, or a cloud storage service.

Windows Server Backup is a feature that is included with all editions of Windows Server 2012 and later. It is a client-server application that you can use to back up data to a local drive, a network drive, or a cloud storage service. The Windows Server Backup feature is available in the Server Manager console.

You can use Windows Server Backup to create full backups, incremental backups, and differential backups. Full backups contain all of the data in the selected backup location. Incremental backups only contain the data that has changed since the last backup. Differential backups only contain the data that has changed since the last full backup.

If you choose to store the backup on a network drive, you will need to enter the UNC path of the network drive.

If you choose to store the backup on a cloud storage service, you will need to enter the storage account name and key.

Click Next to continue.

On the Confirm Backup Settings page, review the settings for the backup plan. If you need to make any changes, click Back.
