Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation program that helps you create slideshows or presentations. PowerPoint can be used to format text in various ways. You can change the font, size, color, and alignment of text. You can also add special effects to text, such as shadows, glows, and 3D effects.

Instructions

1. Open Microsoft PowerPoint.

2. Click on the “File” tab.

3. Click “New.”

4. Click “Blank Presentation.”

5. Click on the “Home” tab.

6. Click on the “New Slide” button.

7. Click on the “Title and Content” layout.

8. Type your title in the “Title” box.

9. Type your content in the “Content” box.

10. To format your text, select the text you want to format.

16. To add a hyperlink to text, select the text you want to hyperlink. Then, click on the “Insert” tab. Click on the “Hyperlink” button. In the “Insert Hyperlink” window, type or paste the URL of the website you want to link to. Then, click on the “OK” button.

17. To save your PowerPoint presentation, click on the “File” tab. Click on the “Save As” button. In the “Save As” window, type a name for your presentation in the “File name” field. Then, click on the “Save” button.

It’s easy to format text in Microsoft PowerPoint on Windows 11. You can use the built-in formatting options, or you can use the Format Painter tool.

To format text using the built-in options:

1. Select the text that you want to format.
2. On the Home tab, in the Font group, choose the formatting options that you want to apply.

To format text using the Format Painter:

1. Select the text that you want to format.
2. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click Format Painter.
3. Select the text that you want to apply the formatting to.

You can also format text by applying a style. Styles are a set of formatting options that you can apply to text all at once. To apply a style:

Format Shape Pane

In the top left corner of the ribbon, there is a drop-down menu that says Format Shape. Click on this drop-down menu to open the Format Shape pane.
